INSPIRATION

Our planet’s ability to use raw materials, extreme temperatures, great force, and high pressure to create diverse and astonishing sculptural landscapes provides me with endless inspiration. My work begins in the wet, malleable, luscious stages of clay. My mind lingers there with the dark iron-bearing red clays. I’m inspired by the rich history of the earth and the materials swirling within it.
